As a result of the conducted morphological and histochemical research as well as biometrical analysis it was determined that the superior eyelid lacrimal glands of the Far East roe and Siberian roe (C. c. bedfordi Thomas and C. с. pygargus Pallas) have similarities of acini microstructure and function of the given organ, as well as revealed specific differences that is substantiated by the karyo- and cytometrical research.
