MICROBIOLOGICAL EMISSION OF CH 4 AND CO 2 IN CRIOGENIC SOILS OF CENTRAL EVENKIA LARCH FORESTS (EXPERIMENT WITH THE PERMAFROST SIMULATED WARMING-UP)
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
It is established by the authors that the simulated warming-up of the permafrost soil layer (homogeneous cryozem) initiates the microbial complex respiratory activity and the methane emission on the experimental plot in comparison with the control plot. However, the excess in the soil layer heating temperature by 3-4 оС does not give the effect of the significant increase in methane emission from the soil surface in comparison with control.
