It is established by the author's research that in the Selenga River delta the layered-alluvial humic soils of the soil formation primary trunk were formed at the pulsing mode of the floodplain conditions as a result of the climatic condition cyclic changes in the region. The morphogenetic and physical-chemical properties of the studied soils are considered.
