Land tenure problems in the Chechen Republic that are related to land degradation as a result of pollution by oil and oil products, water and wind erosion development, salinization, dehumification and some other negative factors of the natural and technogenic origin are revealed and mapped in the article on the basis of the geoecological analysis.
