Abstract (English):
Different points of view on formation, functioning and development of a crowd are revealed; its modern definition and classification is given in the article. Modern tendencies in self-organization and development of a crowd by means of Internet are analyzed. The specification of the hotheaded and instantaneous crowd and the peculiarities of the smart and reasonable crowd are given.
