The levels of dust accumulation in grassy types birch forests growing under the influence of lime pits near Krasnoyarsk city and in background conditions are given in the article. The quantitative characteristics of heavy metal accumulation on the surface and inside birch leaves and pine needles in the investigated area are determined. The peculiarities and regularities of accumulation processes are revealed.
