The results of many years monitoring on the musk-ox population in Taimyr are presented in the article. The analysis of spatial placement and herds’ sex-age structure is conducted. The musk-ox economic value for the Arctic territories of Russia is discussed. The production quality in terms of ecological toxicants pollution is analyzed.
