The article is devoted to the issues of students’ professional self-determination in the state and private institutions of higher education. The problems of personality activity, professional orientation motivation while choosing the course of life are considered in the article. The integral picture of students’ professional self-determination dynamics in the institutions of higher education on the basis of the generalized empirical data results is characterized. The peculiarities of future specialists’ professional development in different types of educational institutions are considered.
