The comparative research of the fluctuating asymmetry indicator size of the leaf plates of the Hungarian lilac and the drooping birch, growing in various pollution degree sites of Krasnoyarsk is conducted. It is established that the variation degree of the width of the right and left lilac leaf halves can act as a sensitive indicator in the comparative assessment of anthropogenous load on the urban environment.
