The issues of the electromagnetic compatibility in the networks with the lighting load are considered in the article. It is shown that for the compensation of the higher harmonics generated by the lighting equipment, it is advisable to use the broadband power harmonic filters. The procedure for the calculation of the broadband power harmonic filters based on the use of LC-four-terminal network synthesis methods is offered. The proposed approach allows to get the filter-compensating device providing the weakening current and voltage harmonics in the given frequency range, as well as the reactive power compensation at the frequency of the first harmonic.
