THE EFFICIENCY OF MEDICINAL PLANT IN FUSION APPLICATION FOR NEWBORN CALVES

Abstract (English):
The authors of the article researched the influence of the medicinal plant infusions (leaves of birch, nettle, plantain) on the degree of peroxidation product accumulation and antioxidant system activity of calves. It is established that the introduction of the nettle and plantain leaf infusions contributes in the greater degree to the stabilization of the lipid peroxide oxidation process in terms of the ceruloplasm in and vitamin E level increase. The economic efficiency and expediency of preventive actions for newborn calves while using the medicinal plant infusion are shown.
