The article is devoted to studying of the territorial distribution seasonal peculiarities of Karatauargali (arkhar) (Ovis ammon nigrimontana Severzov, 1873). The Karatau argali(arkhar)research and record was conducted in the north-western half of Karatauridge(Syrdarya) in the territory of Karatau forestry of the Turkestanskiy forestry enterprise in the South Kazakhstan region in 2003-2013 as a part of expedition and field study of theriology laboratory members from the Zoology Institute of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kazakhstan Republic.
