The geobotanical description of the Krascheninnikovia lenensis (Kumin.)Tzvel. populations in Yakutia southwest and central regions is given in the article. The population demography and density in different points of the area are studied. The reduction of their habitation areas is noted. The necessity of giving the status of botanical monuments to species habitats and their inclusion into the protection system is substantiated.
