HISTOLOGIC FEATURES IN URINARY AND PARENCHYMATOUS BODIES OF CATS AT UROLITHIASIS IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE REGION CAUCASUS MINERAL WATERS
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
At histologic research of bodies and tissues of the cats who died of urolithiasis in the region Cau-casus Mineral Waters the expressed changes in all bodies of system of urination - kidneys, ureter, bladder and urethra were noted. The overflow of capillaries of kidneys and their balls by blood, ex-pansion of vessels and desquamation of endotheli-um is revealed. Hydropic dystrophy and lysis of epithelium were found in the proximal and distal convoluted tubules. Collective tubules were ex-panded; in them the local atrophy of epithelium on the location of urolith was found. In the ureter puffi-ness of connective tissue of own mucous mem-brane, intermuscular layers and serous cover came to light. In their walls the infiltration of inflammatory cells and endangiits was found. In all layers of bladder hemorrhages were present. In the mucous membrane of bladder the desquamation of epitheli-um and hemostasis was registered, in the muscular swelled also non-uniform coloring of myositis, in serous cover was hypostasis. Under the serous cover and in connective tissue of intermuscular lay-ers there was the congestion of lymphocytes, hystiocytes and mast cells. Mucous urethras were hyperemic, edematous, with a desquamation of endothelium. In friable connecting fabric of own and mucous layer and submucous basis of urethra infil-trate from fibrocytes, was registered puffiness of endothelium and mussels of vessels. The picture of changes in liver, heart, pancreas, lungs and spleen was caused by damage of vessels - endangiits, stagnant hyperaemia, development of hypostases and inflammatory reaction with the congestion of mast cells, damage of functional cells of bodies and development of compensatory reactions owing to action to tissues of uremic toxins.
