The objective of the study is to develop theoretical and methodological foundations for the application of flexible management technologies (FMT) to improve the efficiency of industrial development in new regions of the Russian Federation. Research objectives: to clarify the categorical apparatus of FMT, to identify global trends in the implementation of FMT and to develop methodological provisions for their implementation at enterprises in new regions. The object of the study is the management mechanisms for the adaptation and promotion of FMT in industrial complexes of new regions. Research methods are system, statistical and comparative analysis, methods of scientific abstraction, expert assessments and a graphical method. A comprehensive definition is proposed that integrates the characteristics of adaptability, situational determinacy and effectiveness, which allows for a more holistic and systematic consideration of FMT as an enterprise development tool. The characteristics of FMT are systematized and identified for use at industrial enterprises operating in conditions of increased uncertainty and resource constraints typical of new regions of the Russian Federation. Based on the analysis of global trends, key priority areas for the development of flexible management technologies have been formed. The stages of development and priorities for the implementation of specific flexible management technologies (lean manufacturing, kanban, six sigma, QRM) for DPR enterprises have been determined, taking into account industry specifics. The implementation of the proposed methodological and practical provisions will ensure the adaptation of management practices to the special conditions of the transition of industrial enterprises to new economic realities, promoting their development in the single economic space of the Russian Federation and stimulating sustainable economic growth. The practical significance of the research results determines their application in the activities of government and administrative bodies, as well as business entities operating in the industry of the new regions of the Russian Federation. The developed theoretical and methodological provisions and practical recommendations can be used to form regional strategies and programs for industrial development aimed at increasing the competitiveness of enterprises.
