At present stage of development of market economy the questions of management of human capital as the most important factor of development of any economic system are of particular importance. Social and economic development of rural territories is impossible without human capital. The inhabitants of rural territories with their education, health, skills, enterprise initiative are the main factor of agrarian economy development. For today the condition of human capital is characterized by low educational level, the decrease in the population of working age, the outflow of the youth that do not promote sustainable development of agrarian complex. In this regard the relevance of the development of technique of the assessment of human capital considering features of rural territories increases as defined need and target orientation of the research. The research objective is the devel-opment of methodical provisions according to the level of human capital and allocation on its basis of types of rural territories. In the study the algorithm of complex assessment of human capital of rural territories is offered. The indices and indicators of the assessment allowing with the greatest probabil-ity of estimating human capital are developed. The offered technique al-lowed carrying out the division of rural territories according to the level of human capital, and also defining the main problems of its development.
